The jubilarians, SM Lee Wlazlowski and SM Noelle Narbut, celebrating 75 years, and SM Bernadine Wolanin, celebrating 70 years, rejoiced in the harmonious beauty of the Felician Sisters’ Choir as they lifted their voices in gratitude to God for the fidelity of the sister celebrants.
SM Virginia Tomasiak, master organist, played the clavinova as S Marilyn Marie Minter, choir director, accompanied on the guitar. Concelebrating at the 11 a.m. liturgy on the feast of Corpus Christi, June 2, were Father Leonard Stunek, OFM, care center chaplain, Father Joel Szydlowski, OFM, convent chaplain, and Father Damian Colicchio, I.V. Dei, of Felician College.
Father Len, presider and homilist, emphasized the importance of the Eucharistic Lord Jesus who is the summit and focus of everyone’s life, most especially for religious women and men. After the liturgy, the sisters and guests enjoyed a meal in the dining room with its golden anniversary decorations.
At 2 p.m., the sisters from the central convent joined the care center audience for a dance performance by senior dancers of the troupe Best Foot Forward, from East Rutherford, NJ. The 21-member group specializes in tap dance, production numbers, and Broadway tunes. In their scintillating costumes, they delighted the sisters with their capers. Also performing were Cathy Blume, vocalist, and John Caprial accordionist.                  .

According to SM Virginia Tomasiak, both religious and secular combined to create this memorable day.
