On Saturday, February 2, the feast of the Presentation of Jesus, a day set aside to commemorate the World Day for Consecrated Life, the Felician Sisters of Our Lady of Częstochowa Province in Przemyśl, Poland, were among the 400 religious women and men representing approximately 20 religious communities that gathered at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Jarosław, Poland.
The presider for the Eucharistic liturgy was Józef Michalik, Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Przemyśl. During his homily, he reminded the religious men and women of the importance of being an authentic witness through their lives and not just by their words.
S Margaret Marie Padilla, general councilor, accompanied the sisters for this beautiful and festive celebration. Several Felician Sisters from the Kraków Province were also present for this event.
